Lan Zhan hooks his chin over Wei Ying's shoulder, holding Wei Ying close for a few moments as he contemplates that. This house, this man, this river and those rabbits are now his life. He can enjoy them as he likes without consequence. Lan Zhan knows it is not correct that the happiness the thought brings is weighed with almost nauseating fear but he does not know how to rid himself of it.

He finally pulls back enough to carefully unwrap his own food, smiling softly as he sees Wei Ying has prepared a vegetarian meal for him. "Lan Zhan will leave many marks before night is over," he promises before taking a few neat bites.
